Sports
The school has a swimming pool and two gymnasiums. Pupils compete at national level in many sports including netball, swimming, basketball and skiing.

Resources Room
A purpose built ICT facility with over 70 networked computers. Interactive whiteboard technology is used in many teaching areas. The school is wireless networked and benefits from high quality and up to date equipment.

Learning Resource Centre
The Learning Resource Centre was reopened in September 1999 after extensive remodelling. As well as considerable expenditure on new books, new shelving, carpets and furniture were installed creating a light and pleasant working environment.

There are 24 private study carels and seating at tables for another 28 students. A suite of 12 computers and 10 laptops, all with internet access, is provided so that students may facilitate their school work.

The Learning Resource Centre has the benefit of both a librarian, who is on duty every day from 8.30am and an experienced library assistant, who covers lunch times. Assistance is given to all students who need help either in finding information, whether in the books or on the computers, or in using the computer programs.
