Students of all abilities have done very well.
At A level 50% of all Y13 students achieved four or five A levels and 33% of these students have at least one A grade A level. 42% of all entries achieved an A or B grade.
We are delighted with the 2007 A level results across all thirty subject areas. The vast majority of cases have achieved their first choice University place. Studying a great variety of subjects at a large number of different universities.
Year 12 - AS level
66% of Y12 students have achieved 4, 5 or 6 AS levels. 32% of students have achieved at least one A grade with eighteen students achieving three, four, five or in some cases six A grades at AS level.
Results at AS level are very pleasing with many girls achieving A grades across a wide range of subjects. These results bode well for the 2008 A level results and applications to University this autumn.
These results are due to the hard work of students and staff who are supported by parents and governors. Many girls have combined academic success with sporting achievement, active involvement in a range of extra-curricular activities ranging from Opera and Choir to Netball and Skiing. These students have also made a massive contribution to charity fund raising for local, regional and national initiatives.
