Homework Policy

The School Policy is for all pupils to do some homework daily, whether reading/research or written work.  Tutors and Heads of Departments agree the detail of a weekly Homework Timetable authorised by the relevant Head of Year in such a way that pupils are not overburdened and that the tasks match the demands of the National Curriculum.  A pupil planner is issued to all pupils and in the planner the daily homework tasks are recorded and by this means parents can see what is required and co-operate with the school in ensuring their daughters' progress.
